| Our scoops have a rubber strip that fits over the coating edge to protect the edge from nicks and other marks so the emulsion coating will be even. The scoop coater also has angled ends to be placed directly on the mesh so the angle, and therefore coating thickness, will be the same on every coating. All emulsion should be immediately cleaned out of the scoop coater after use, because the emulsion will otherwise dry and get very hard to remove. Other sizes can be special ordered. 16" is designed to provide a coating for an image 14" wide with 1" margin to spare on each side of the image. |
